The significance of this occasion is not lost with the people. The first school house built in this community was built where the Pace Community Center stands by Joseph in the mid-late 1800s. Manual pdf His son, Felix, rebuilt the school in 1906 and remodel it in 1925/1926. Manual pdf We know because we have a receipt for $1.87. Several of the elders sitting in the background were students at the school and have many stories to tell. Manual pdf Of course, it eventually was transformed into was is now the Pace Community Center and our Chief Rodger Collum was the man that did the construction of the building. It’s all history and it’s all ours!
